Our PHYSICIAN GRADE Megapeel® Microdermabrasion is a concurrent two-stage exfoliating process using a medical grade machine that precisely removes dead skin cells, layer by layer, until fresh new cells appear, exposing younger and healthier skin. The treatment hand piece sprays aluminum oxide crystals onto the skin, and then vacuums up the loosened dead skin cells and spent crystals. The ability to customize the treatment by regulating crystal flow and vacuum action surpasses any at-home exfoliating method.
VSPA uses the type of medical grade microdermabrasion available to properly licensed physicians and medical spas. Ask us about the difference in our microdermabrasion treatment vs. home microdermabrasion kits and salon-quality kits. Be advised: "medical quality" and "medical grade" microdermabrasion is being used in advertising where the "salon" may not have a medical director or properly licensed staff to perform true medical grade microdermabrasion services.
